Why Worry?

I feel excited starting this blog. In the midst of financial crisis happening to our lives and to the rest of the world, what sets us apart is that we see beyond the things we don't have. Our rich Father in heaven has blessed us with daily miracles which we want to share with you.

Today we went for a long drive to the Friday Market in  Fujairah to take photos. It has been a long time since we did a leisure shoot. But we got more than just good photos! We bought good tasting mangoes for a bargain. Last week, we saw Thai mangoes in Spinneys but they were really expensive. We just bought one piece of mango. Today, we got a kilo for the price of that one piece of mango! It is was God's simple way of telling us that not all good things need to be pricey.

We had a hearty lunch after our morning trip. We bought tilapia and kangkong from the fish market on the way home. Our daily meal is another miracle for us. A lot of people in the world are starving and doesn't have anything to eat at all. With the financial problems we are facing right now, we are just truly blessed to be able to enjoy a good meal like this.


Reflecting on God's promises, His word from Luke 12:22 has assured us that there is no need to worry.
"...Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. ²³Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. ²⁴Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!"
What reassuring words! We can always count on His promises.
